Dewey Smith has been fitting and showing World Champion halter horses since 1982.  He has fit or shown 49 World or Reserve World Champions in four different breeds.  Also 4 AQHA Congress Champions and 4 Reserve Congress Champion.  One of Dewey's specialties is selecting and shaping the perfect horse for the individual, to go accomplish whatever he or she may desire.  One of his best attributes is picking one in the rough, when Dewey says "that is the one" you better take note.  Also his knowledge of pedigrees and how they should be crossed far surpasses most others.  Dewey has a degree in Animal Science and a Minor in Nutrition.  With that kind of education it makes breeding, fitting, and feeding come as almost second nature to him.  Dewey has fit or led futurity horses earning over $220,000.00 in winnings.
Tammi also loves doing the halter horses with her husband.  She shows in the amateur halter and has been Reserve World Champion in the APHA.  She has also shown at the AQHA World and Congress many times and never been out of the top ten.  In 2005 Tammi won the America Quarter Horse Congress with a wonderful Yearling Stallion SMS Coolateral!! Tammi's first love in the horses was doing the All-Around.  She has been in the Top 20 in the nation as a Youth 6 times, with the highest placing being 4th!  She has also won many Honor Rolls and is a 2 time World Champion with her Trail horse Teddy Time Zone. raised by the Smith Family "Zippinintriplicate".  Dewey's son, Drew, is also very active in the halter horses and has shown at the Quarter Horse Congress three times and has never been out of the Top Ten!  He has also shown at the Quarter, Paint, Pinto, and Palomino World shows earning World and Reserve World Championships.  Drew also loves to go on family vacations and go to OU football games.  He can't wait until he is old enough to play football, but for now his dad says that will have to wait.
